Tourist Places in Bhimtal : Bhimtal, 16 kms from Nainital, is named after one of the Pandav brothers called Bhim. Bhimtal is renowned for the largest lake - Bhim Tal - in the district of Nainital, which is much longer than Naini Lake. Bhim Tal appears to be a tiny island encompassed by the lake.
