Fateh Prakash Palace is a Grand Heritage Palace built along the shores of Lake Pichola. Named after one of Mewar dynasty's greatest rulers, Maharana Fateh Singh (period of reign: 1884-1935), the palace is a repository of exquisite chandeliers and rare paintings, unique crystal and crockery collections. Fateh Prakash Palace has been awarded the National Tourism Award for the best heritage hotel in 'Heritage Grand' category for 2001-2002 by the Department of Tourism, Government of India.
ACCOMMODATION

Each suite at Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel Udaipur is decorated with original portraits and period furniture, which have been in the family for generations. The recently opened Dovecote wing has all the rooms facing Lake Pichola. Each room has been designed to give maximum comfort and a sweeping view of the lake with the Jagmandir Island Palace and Lake Palace.

RESTAURANT & BAR

The Top Terrace and the Sunset View Terrace have been specially developed at the Fateh Prakash Palace, a Grand Heritage Palace of the HRH Group, for exclusive celebrations with the backdrop of spectacular views of Lake Pichola, mountains and the setting sun.

Gallery Restaurant : The Gallery Restaurant at Fateh Prakash Palace, is a speciality restaurant serving continental cuisine. It offers breath-taking views of the Lake Pichola and its island palaces of Jagmandir and Jagniwas (Lake Palace Hotel).

Durbar Hall : Durbar Hall, glittering and respledent with chandeliers and crystal, has been the chosen venue for innumerable ceremonial and corporate events. Upto 120 guests for formal banquets and 300 guests for buffet style dining can be accomodated.

Sunset View Terrace : The Sunset View Terrace, overlooking Lake Pichola and the island palaces of Jagmandir and Jagniwas caters to the dining needs of 50 to 70 guests for sit down functions and upto 200 guests for buffet style dining.

The Top Terrace : At the Top Terrace upto 300 guests can be accomodated for buffet style dining and maximum 190 guests for formal banquets.

MEETING & BANQUET FACILITIES

The Lawns : The Lawns, in front of the bandstand, are ideal for sit down banquets, buffets and wedding ceremonies for anywhere between 50 to 500 guests (maximum 200 guests for sit-down dinners).

Zenana Mahal : The Zenana Mahal (palace for the royal ladies) is ideal for special dinners and sit-down banquets for upto 288 guests. The candle-lit, flower-decked tables are arranged around the fountain and dance floor facing the glittering pavilion, creating an air of privacy and exclusivity at the Zenana Mahal. Upto 500 guests can be catered for buffet style dining.

Manek Chowk : Sit-down banquets and special dinners at the picturesque Manek Chowk (or palace grounds) can accommodate upto 200 guests for formal gatherings. Special illuminations transform Manek Chowk in the evenings into a dreamy setting for formal dinners and wedding celebrations.

The Promenade : On the shores of Lake Pichola is the landscaped Promenade with spectacular views of the lake, island palaces and the mountains. The Lawns at Promenade accommodate 100 to 300 guests for formal banquets and wedding parties; upto 3000 guest for casual buffet style dining. The Promenade Jetty is another popular venue for special dinners and ceremonial occasions where upto 300 guests can be accommodated for sit-down; upto 2000 guests for buffet style dining.

Baadi Mahal : The Baadi Mahal is an exclusive garden courtyard in the Mardana Mahal (palace for the royal men) provides an opportunity to organize exclusive dinners, preferably in the traditional Indian floor-seating arrangement, for groups of upto 50 guests.

Mor Chowk : The historic Mor Chowk in the Mardana Mahal (palace for the royal men) is ideal for exclusive banquets for small groups of 20 to 50 guests who can absorb the grandeur of the palace. The traditional Indian floor-seating arrangement is recommended for dinners at Mor Chowk.
